At PhoenixDAO, we want to make building a community as easy as possible. That’s why we’ve designed the Events dApp.

Similar to platforms like Ticketmaster, our Events dApp is a hub for event hosts and attendees to connect. Concert-goers can find concert-hosters and acquire tickets utilizing the PHNX token, though free events are prevalent as well.

Thanks to PhoenixDAO’s idea of a simple, secure platform like their events dApp, there’s no signing up for each event or going through a long preliminary process. It’s as simple as connecting your wallet, paying the fee, and acquiring the ticket. This streamlined method should entice consumers to join multiple events a week, as their budget allows, of course.

As for the events themselves, anyone can host one. As for the events themselves, anyone from anywhere can host one. To make sure users are safe, there’s a report button to flag any event with malicious reasons, which will then be looked into by the admins. Digging deep to see more features on dApp, it is safe to say it closely resembles the ideal platform for the new digital economy.

The ERC-721 standard allows tickets to be transferred on the chain which opens a lot of opportunities for future enhancements.

Polygon scaling

Initially the platform will be completely free to use other than incurring network fees (gas) and all transactions will be made in our native token PHNX however, as the platform evolves we may introduce small competitive fees and other currencies for purchasing tickets. This will in turn be another revenue generator for PhoenixDAO moving us closer to self-sustainability. We’re implementing the polygon sidechain scaling solution for lower gas fees.
