UTU and PhoenixDAO Partner to Enhance Trust in Digital Identity and Events

What is PhoenixDAO?

PhoenixDAO is a digital identity-based suite of protocols and products designed to power the new digital economy covering DeFi, NFT to decentralized governance through authentication, payments, and linked identity. These protocols include:

• Phoenix Identity: This is a protocol that creates and links digital identities across different DeFi based dApps, apps and APIs.
• Phoenix Authentication: This is a blockchain based 2-factor authentication protocol to verify DeFi app logins and approve transactions using your digital identity.
• Phoenix Payments: These are smart contracts that facilitate payments without a 3rd party escrow service.

The team also built the Phoenix DAO alongside a staking and events dApp. The Events dApp uses NFTs and Events Marketplace to facilitate creating, selling, purchasing, and gifting tickets for different types of events.

How will UTU and PhoenixDAO work together?

For starters, we will integrate the UTU Trust API into the PhoenixDAO events marketplace. Event attendees will be able to rate and review event creators to help others identify trustworthy actors within the dApp. The API will also serve up personalized event recommendations based on social connections and user-permissioned data.

Secondly, we will integrate the Trust API into PhoenixDAO’s Identity solution, generating trust signals for users of any dApps using Phoenix Identity. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the API is able to analyze various data and interactions on dApps, weeding out bad actors. These interactions include properly logging into and transacting on dApps using set authentication procedures. The trust signals will enable users to transact in a more trustworthy environment.

In addition, UTU will use the PhoenixDAO events dApp for future events, so look out for that in the near future! Users can book and pay for events with crypto, in addition to credit/debit cards, and also verify ticket authenticity on the blockchain.
